The EUFORGEN Webinar Series 2025 continues with a dedicated online event organised in collaboration with the Horizon 2020 FORGENIUS project. This special session will introduce the fully upgraded EUFGIS platform, a key resource for the conservation and sustainable use of Europe’s forest genetic resources.
The webinar will bring together experts working on forest genetic diversity, conservation strategies and data management to present the platform’s new interface, tools and interactive features. Participants will learn how EUFGIS illustrates climatic, environmental, phenotypic and genetic data for each genetic conservation unit, how indicators are used to assess conservation status and how the platform links with complementary information systems such as GD² and FOREMATIS.
